Coyote Coaching uses the energy of the Trickster archetype to create a challenging and creative coaching environment for individuals.

We see the role of coaching as helping an individual to find the motivation to tackle their problems in a different way, as well as providing guidance and information about how they might do it.

What is Trickster energy?  Well, it’s designed to make people stop and think, and think hard.

Zen Masters would test their pupils with riddles, called Koans, such as the one at the top of this page. The point was not to find an answer, but to provoke the pupil to think beyond them. For example, one possible response to this riffle might be “Change transforms us into something our old selves can no longer recognise, therefore it is impossible for me to imagine the person I might transform into in the future.”
